Born: Barnet, 1974 (Age 40) 1993-94: Broke into the Edgware Town first team in Isthmian League Division Two aged 18. Scored 41 goals to alert League clubs and joined Division One Charlton Athletic.

1994-95: Made handful of first team appearance­s and had a loan spell at Leyton Orient, his first of four stints at the club. Finished r eserve top scorer for Charlton but was r eleased.

1995-97: Joined Peterborou­gh United and went on loan to Colchester United and Cambridge United before signing for Orient.

1996-97: Nailed down a starting place and scored seven goals but was sold to Barnet. 1997-01: Scored 37 goals at Bar net, and then returned to Colchester United for a permanent spell. 2004-05: After three years, and 38 goals with the U’s, McGleish was signed by Northampto­n. In his first season he scored 17 before injury. 2005-06: Banged in 24 goals as the Cobblers finished League Two runners-up and won promotion. 2007-09: Moved to Wycombe Wanderers and scored 34 times in 75 appearance­s. Loan spells at Northampto­n and Orient. 2009-11: Returned to Orient and played an FA Cup replay at Arsenal when they drew with the Premier League giants in the fifth r ound. 2011-12: Spent a final season in the League at Bristol Rovers. Retur ned to Non-League with Whitehawk. 2013-present: After spells at Chesham United and Enfield Town, signed for Ryman Premier Wealdstone. Scored 27 goals as the Stones won the league.
