TOM GIVES BOSS LOTS OF OPTIONS

ROTHERHAM manager Steve Evans has hinted that a role in wide midfield may be in the offing for gifted forward Tom Lawrence.

The 20-year-old Leicester City loanee has caught his manager’s eye in recent weeks.

And the Millers boss admitted he may experiment with where to deploy Lawrence’s pace and skill.

“He can play left, he can play right, he can play up as a two, he can drop in as we had him doing on Saturday. So we have different options for him,” he said.

“He’s put a few of our defenders on their backsides on the training ground just by dropping his shoulder when he runs at them.”
