BEES BOSS: PAY UP OR FORGET IT
MARK Warburton has issued a hands-off warning to anyone eyeing up his high-flying Brentford stars – unless they are willing to pay the right price in January.
After Adam Forshaw’s summer transfer saga – Wigan having two bids for the midfielder turned down before the Bees accepted a third – Warburton assured fans he will not part with his assets lightly.
“Premier League clubs will want to add value to their squads, but we have made a statement with the Forshaw transfer,” he said.
“Players will only be allowed to leave on our terms and when our valuation is met.”
