NESS WAIT TO LOCK UP FUTURE

-

CREWE’S on-loan midfielder Jamie Ness is to discuss his future with parent club, Stoke City.

Ness, 23, who has made just one appearance for Stoke since his switch from Rangers in August 2012, has been onloan at Crewe since August.

His loan spell ends next month and he said:“We’ve not really sat down and discussed anything, I think that will be something for after Christmas.

“I just really want to focus on putting in good performances.

“I would need to speak to Stoke and find out what their thoughts are and what they want me to do.

“The loan spell has not gone as well as I would have liked due to injuries, but I have worked hard to get back in the team.

“I’m getting my confidence back and now I want to go out there and show people what I can really do.

“I feel that I’m a lot fitter and stronger than at the start of the season and I hope my performances will show that.”
