A WADD IN POMPEY’S POCKET!
GARY Waddock believes he is the man to help Portsmouth escape League Two, after being appointed Andy Awford’s No.2 at Fratton Park.
Awford had been searching for a new assistant since Alan McLoughlin left the club earlier this month.
Waddock has worked in various capacities at QPR, Aldershot,Wycombe, Oxford, MK Dons and, most recently, Barnet.
He said:“Pompey are a big club and I want to help them start to move forwards again. I’m excited to be working with Andy, the staff and the players. I’ve worked at this level before, so know what’s required.”
