DIM SHINES BRIGHT UP AT BORO
IN-FORM Middlesbrough goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos has extended his contract with the club after keeping 15 clean sheets in 29 games this season.
The terms of the deal are undisclosed but Boro boss Aitor Karanka revealed the 36-year-old has been a revelation since joining the club from AEK Athens in 2013.
“It’s great news for everyone,” he said. “Dimi is the kind of player you want in your squad.
“He was the third goalkeeper in the squad when we came here and now he is number one. He has done really well. He is a very important member of our squad on and off the pitch.”
