MILTON IN RAID FOR OLD FACES

-

CHELTENHAM boss Russell Milton admits he has focused his transfer policy on adding experience to his ailing squad with the arrivals of Matt Sparrow, Shaun Harrad and Pablo Mills.

The Robins had only five players over the age of 26 on their books until the trio pitched up on loan for the rest of the season.

Striker Harrad, 30, has joined from Notts County, defender Mills, also 30, has signed from Bury and midfielder Sparrow, 33, has come in from Scunthorpe.

Milton said: “All three of the new lads have played in higher leagues, seen all sorts of situations and two of them have been captains. I’m really pleased with what we’ve got.”
