IT’S BLYTH BLOW FOR BREWERS
ON-LOAN Burton striker Jacob Blyth is unlikely to feature in the season run-in, manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has revealed.
The 22-year-old, on loan from Leicester, was initially set for six weeks on the sidelines after pulling his quadriceps during a 3-1 win at Cheltenham in February.
But former Leeds striker Hasselbaink has confirmed Blyth may have played his last game for the Brewers.
He said: “He is not going to make it for the remainder of the season unfortunately.
“It is a massive blow but as much as we would like to get him back, it is an opportunity for somebody else to grasp it and flourish it.”
