KEANE TO STAY ON AT STEVENAGE

KEITH KEANE will remain on loan at Stevenage until the end of the season, both clubs have confirmed.

The 28-year-old, who is yet to play for parent club Preston this term, moved to Boro on an initial month’s loan deal.

But boss Graham Westley convinced the midfielder, out of contract in the summer, to remain with the League Two club as they push for the play-offs.

Preston confirmed: “Keith has been on loan since the beginning of March and has decided to extend his stay.”
