JUSTIN’S PLOTTING HIS MOVES

-

GILLINGHAM retain an outside chance of crashing the League One play-off party, but manager Justin Edinburgh admits he already has one eye on next season.

The former Tottenham defender took charge at Priestfield in February and has steered the club into a safe mid-table position.

Yet with big ambitions, Edinburgh is already planning to shake up his squad.

He said: “We’ve got targets. We’ve had meetings here over potential signings.

“We’ve made contact with ones that we want. You’ve got to be ahead of the game because the good ones will be wanted by other clubs.

“You haven’t got to rush but you’ve got to be ready.”
