UN­LUCKY SCOTT’S HIT AGAIN

SCOTT Ho­gan’s in­jury hell is not over af­ter the Brent­ford striker dis­cov­ered he will go un­der the knife again soon.

The 23-year-old suf­fered an­te­rior cru­ci­ate lig­a­ment dam­age in Au­gust shortly af­ter ar­riv­ing at the club from Rochdale.

Af­ter an op­er­a­tion in Septem­ber he trav­elled to Philadel­phia in the New Year to con­tinue his re­cov­ery but un­lucky Ho­gan has been struck down yet again.

“Scott caught his foot in the turf whilst mak­ing a side­foot pass and has sus­tained a fur­ther in­jury to the same knee,” said Brent­ford’s med­i­cal chief Neil Greig.

“I would an­tic­i­pate know­ing more re­gard­ing timescales fol­low­ing surgery.”
