MOWBRAY: PATIENCE WILL PAY

-

COVENTRY manager Tony Mowbray is urging Sky Blues fans to stay calm as the club looks to rebuild at the start of the season.

After a rollercoaster 2014/15 campaign which saw them return to the Ricoh Arena but narrowly avoid relegation, Mowbray has only signed Newcastle’s Adam Armstrong on loan and Blair Turgott on a free.

But the ex-Middlesbrough boss is promising action before the window closes.

“I’ve had to be patient and wait for the players,” he said. “But my message to the fans is we will add three or four.

“I want a little bit of patience at the start and hopefully we’ll be very competitive as we go on.”
