MEGAN BOOSTS WATFORD
WATFORD defender Megan Wynne is hopeful of featuring for the first time in four months today after recovering from a knee injury.
The Wales international has been restricted to just two appearances in WSL 2 this term and the club have suffered for it, sinking to the bottom of the table – and they are on a run of six league defeats in a row.
But Wynne hopes she will be back when league leaders Doncaster Rovers Belles arrive at Berkhamsted.
“I tore my meniscus and for around three weeks I couldn’t do anything at all, but I’m hoping to make an appearance on Sunday,” she said.“It has been really frustrating being out of the team for four months.”
