JAMIE’S NO.1 BATTLE

FORMER Liverpool goalkeeper Jamie Stephens intends to fight Graham Stack for the No1 jersey at Barnet after signing a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old was released in May by Newport County, having previously been on the books of the Liverpool youth academy.

“I need to support Graham because he’s an outstanding goalkeeper,” said Stephens. “But I’m looking forward to getting games myself and pushing him.”
