OMOZUSI IS READY TO ATTACK

CAMBRIDGE United new boy Elliot Omozusi says he’s prepared to go on the offensive at the Abbey Stadium as he adapts to life as a wing-back.

The former Leyton Orient man has played at full-back, central defence and in midfield but never before as a wing-back, where he made his Cambridge debut in the midweek Capital One Cup defeat to Rotherham.

And Omozusi, 26, said:“It’s pretty new for me, but one of the things I’ve wanted to add to my game is to go forward and playing that role allows me to take the shackles off.

“With the kind of players the manager’s bringing in, if and when we need to change the system, we can do it.”
