U’S SNAP UP JOHN

OXFORD boss Michael Appleton believes the club have landed a real coup in midfielder John Lundstram.

Lundstram, 21, never made an appearance at Everton and spent the last two years on loans at Doncaster, Yeovil and Blackpool.

“John is a player who a lot of clubs have been monitoring,” Appleton said.

“He gets on the ball, links things through the middle and he’s combative so he won’t shy away from the physical side of the game.”
