HORNETS BUZZING WITH PAIR

-

WATFORD may be rooted to the bottom of WSL 2, but boss John Salomon believes that new signings Poppy Jones and Adekite Fatuga-Dada could make all the difference.

Both players have WSL 1 pedigree, with Jones having joined on loan from Birmingham, while Fatuga-Dada’s switch from Arsenal is permanent.

And Salomon hopes they can help lift the club from the foot of the table.

“They’re two exciting players,” he said.

“Poppy is a ball winner and she’s got quality on the ball as well. Adekite is a massive threat with her pace.

“The girls are starting to believe. We’re starting to turn that corner.”
