BLAIR OVER HIS INJURY NIGHTMARE

MATTY Blair is now back to his best and ready to shine for Mansfield Town, boss Adam Murray believes, after recovering from a serious injury.

Blair but suffered cruciate ligament damage in a 2-1 defeat to Carlisle later that month.

The 26-year-old, who this week put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Stags and has won League Two promotion with Fleetwood, has undergone months of rehabilitation but is now finally ready to return.

“We are over the moon with it,” said Murray.

“Matty has had a very serious injury, but he’s worked very hard and he’s looking very strong.”
