PAV BACK TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE

PAVEL Pogrebnyak’s threeyear stay in England has come to an end with the striker returning back to Russia to join Dynamo Moscow from Reading.

The ex-Fulham man, 31, had a year remaining on his deal at the Madejski, but cut short his stay, having scored 28 goals in 87 appearances for the Royals.

“In the second half of last season Pavel was a key player in my team and made a vital contribution,” said manager Steve Clarke.

“His work rate and commitment to Reading were a big plus for me. Now he has the opportunity of a great move back to Russia, I can only thank him for his efforts and wish him well.”
