DONCASTER ROVERS may be flying high in WSL2, but returning defender Emily Simpkins insists the sky’s the limit as they look to upset the odds in the Continental Tyres Cup.
Simpkins bagged a brace on her home debut after returning to the club from Birmingham City, with the Belles beating Durham 5-0.
“It feels amazing to be back,” said the 25-year-old midfielder.“It was nice to feel what home is like here.
“The win put us in a good place in the cup and if we just keep our heads down we’ll have a chance.We go on to the next game now.”
