TILLSON SETS THE STANDARD
EMMANUEL Oyeleke admits he’s been surprised by the rise of Jordan Tillson this season, but hopes to follow his lead and become an Exeter City regular.
Tillson, 22, only played five games for the Grecians last season, but was given his chance this term due to injuries to Jordan Moore-Taylor and David Noble in central defence.
In contrast, Oyeleke’s chances have been more sporadic, but the defender is keen to take opportunities that come his way.
“Tilly’s a great example of what can happen by doing the right things, day in, day out,” said Oyeleke. “I don’t think he’d have thought that he’d play this many games.”
