EXILE JOSH SO UPBEAT
NEWPORT County may not have had the greatest start to the season, but Josh Laurent insists he was more than happy to extend his stay at Rodney Parade.
The 20-year-old arrived on loan from Brentford in August but has been unable to halt the Exiles’ slide.
Laurent, who will now remain on loan until the end of October, is still upbeat about their prospects.
“I am really enjoying my time here,” said the midfielder. “The lads are great and the training is good.
“The manager, Terry Butcher, is always welcoming, telling me where I can improve and helping me progress as player.”
