BREAKING THEIR DUCKS!
BLACKBURN, Rotherham and Crewe are breathing easier now – they’ve all notched their first League win.
Jordan Rhodes inspired Rovers to their first three-pointer of the campaign with two goals in their 3-0 romp against Charlton.
Rotherham also broke their Championship duck. It took a 90th-minute own goal from Cardiff’s Matthew Connolly to gift Steve Evans’ men their first win bonus, triumphing 2-1.
Adam King struck in just the second minute as Crewe won 1-0 at Shrewsbury to climb off the bottom of League One. It means Terry Butcher’s Newport County are the only Football League club still seeking their first victory.
