EVANS: NO TIME FOR NUMPTIES

ROTHERHAM picked up their first league win of the year only last weekend, but boss Steve Evans is adamant critics were far too quick to judge his team’s earlyseason performances.

The Millers beat Cardiff 21 last Saturday for their first three points of the term and Evans claims things are coming together nicely – despite the naysayers.

He said:“We’re getting people fit so the numpties out there – there are a few that moan and groan – will realise it takes time when you bring players together.

“If people said we were anything other than fantastic against Cardiff then they are Sheffield United or Sheffield Wednesday supporters.”
