He then made two top-flight appearances before going on loan to Norwich and helping the Canaries finish runnersup in the Championship. 2011-15 Released by Blackpool in May 2011, Edwards played 18 games for Barnsley and helped keep the Tykes in the Championship. He then spent the 2012-13 season out on loan –first at Fleetwood and then at Shrewsbury – before retiring in October 2013, aged 30. He now coaches the Under-18s at Wolves.
