FAN-TASTIC BOOST FOR CHAIRBOYS

THE recovery from injury of Wycombe Wanderers players will now be aided by new specialist equipment funded by supporters who have invested in the club’s share scheme.

The first item to be purchased through the initiative, which aims to raise £2m over five year, is a shockwave therapy unit which treats on-going chronic injuries.

Boss Gareth Ainsworth said:“With a small squad of only 20 players, injuries can really hit us hard.This equipment is like a new signing in terms of the reduction in time that our players will be spending on the sidelines.”
