FRIENDS REUNITED AT THE U’S

-

ALIE Sesay won’t have long to settle in at Cambridge United after signing on loan, but boss Richard Money is convinced the presence of George Taft can speed the process along.

Sesay, 21, has joined from Leicester City, where he played alongside Taft, for a month and Money is hopeful he can offer something his other defenders can’t.

“He’s a bit different to the other defenders we have in terms of stature, but he’s very quick, he’s happy with the ball at his feet,” he added.“The biggest thing is that he grew up for three years playing with George Taft at Leicester, so there is a familiarity between the two of them.”
