BANTON BOOSTER FOR POOLS

EVERY club is seeking a player who can win a game with a moment of magic and Hartlepool United boss Ronnie Moore believes Jason Banton could be that man after signing the winger.

Banton moves to Victoria Park from Wycombe until January and Moore is convinced the 22-year-old is the missing piece of the puzzle.

“He’s a match winner, that’s for sure,” said Moore.

“He’s got fantastic ability and can play on the right wing and on the left, and he’s a player who can really excite the crowd.

“At this current moment, we are looking for someone to light the blue touch paper and Jason is certainly one who can do that.”
