THIELE IS BREWING UP A GOAL

TIMMY THIELE has thanked the Burton Albion fans for their welcoming reception following his summer switch from Borussia Dortmund II.

The German forward has proved popular since arriving at the Pirelli Stadium, and is keen to give something back to the Brewers’ faithful with a goal.

“They help me, push me again and I keep on doing the work, so I hope I can score – not just for the team, but for all of Burton Albion,” said the 24-year-old.

“Everyone has made it very easy for me – the staff, players and the club – to come in and feel welcome.

“I hope that I can now go and help the club and the team with goals.”
