ROB AND CLINT EARN PLAUDITS

QPR manager Chris Ramsey hailed the displays of veterans Rob Green and Clint Hill after his side earned a rare clean sheet in midweek.

Goalkeeper Green, 35, and centre-back Hill, 37, both made timely interventions in the 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday at Loftus Road.

“Clint played very well,” said Ramsey.“He’s kept himself in good nick and can do 90 minutes. Rob always turns up. He’s a reliable keeper to have behind you.”
