FULHAM owner Shahid Khan wants the Cottagers to push on this season and achieve a play-off place.

Khan bought Fulham in 2013 but Kit Symons team finished 17th in the Championship last season following relegation from the Premier League.

After two seasons in charge, Khan is now keen for Fulham to push on and challenge at the top end.

“I think we need to do better quite frankly,” he said. “Our goal is to finish in the top six.

“The resources are there, we’re committed, but the results are what the results are.We have to start winning games to start picking up the pace right now.”
