DARREN POTS NEW CONTRACT

MK DONS’ former Republic of Ireland international midfielder Darren Potter has signed a new one-year contract.

Potter, 30, is now tied to the club until the end of next season while the club also have a one-year option on him as well.

Boss Karl Robinson said: “The conversations were very quick. Done, dusted and signed – it shows how much he wants to be here.”

Potter, who has been sidelined for the last month by a knee injury, said: “It’s one I’m very happy about. It didn’t take long to think about it. I’m happy here, I’m happy to be playing my football here so it was an easy decision to make.”
