READING MUST IMPROVE FOR BRIGHTON

-

THIS FIXTURE has produced lots of goals, with both Reading and Fulham registering one clean sheet each in the last six league games at Craven Cottage before this weekend and that proved to be the case again with Fulham producing a magnificent comeback.

Kit Symons will be delighted with his side’s second-half performance. They roared back after Reading went two up, and whatever he said to his team at half time evidently worked. However he will not be happy with the first, in which Fulham were abject. Alexander Kacaniklic coming on seemed to be the turning point, and he had a terrific afternoon.

Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele’s linkup play was also exceptional, especially for Dembele’s second. Reading will be disappointed in the way they succumbed to Fulham’s comeback in the second half. They will need to pick themselves up for next weekend’s clash against league leaders Brighton at the Madjeski Stadium.
