KASH CAN HAVE BIG O’S FUTURE
TEENAGER Scott Kashket is being backed to have a big future in the game by Leyton Orient team-mate Connor Essam.
The 19-year-old forward signed a two-year professional contract with Orient in the summer of 2014 and made three appearances last season. He scored the first professional goal of his career at Oxford last week, coming off the bench to rescue a 2-2 draw.
“I am really pleased for Scott and all the lads are because it is nice to see the youngsters coming through,” said Essam, 23.“He is really hard to play against, he is so small, gets in and around you and is just one of those difficult players.”
