NICO’S A BIG FAN OF BOSS LEE

BRENTFORD full-back Nico Yennaris has thanked manager Lee Carsley after showing a glimpse of his potential in recent weeks.

Yennaris was given little opportunity under previous boss Marinus Dijkhuizen, but made good contributions in wins over Rotherham and Wolves.

And the 22-year-old feels he owes Carsley a debt of gratitude.

He said :“Lee has been great with me. He believes in my abilities and it’s time for me to repay him.

“He’s exactly the same with the first team as he was with the development squad. He demands from us and expects us to maintain our standards.”
