SHERI’S DONACIEN DELIGHT

JOHN Sheridan is pleased to have Janoi Donacien back at Rodney Parade after the Aston Villa full-back rejoined Newport County on loan.

The 21-year-old had a four-week spell with Newport earlier in the season, making seven appearances.

“He is raw, but he has great attributes to his game,” said Sheridan. “He is very quick and is a young lad playing League football.”

Donacien added: “The boys have always been welcoming and now we are starting to pick up results. You can see people looking to get on the ball more and be more positive. I just want to help the team climb the table.”
