BRIGHTON ARE STILL THE TEAM TO BEAT

-

IT IS easy to see why Brighton currently lead the way in the Championship as we reach November.

Solid throughout, a joy to watch going forward and in this game they took the one real chance which dropped their way, a very good sign.

They were given a real game by another of the surprise packages in the division this term, and on another day Reading could well have ended their opponents’ unbeaten start to the season, but were let down by poor finishing.

Steve Clarke and his charges should take real encouragement from this performance as they look to plot a way back into the top six.

The hosts had the better of the chances, but were let down by their finishing at times. Both sides had a real go at one another after the break in what was a superb advert for the division.

David Stockdale’s error aside, Brighton will probably feel happy to leave the Madejski Stadium with a point.
