ANDREA GETS THE ORIENT OK

LEYTON Orient have appointed Andrea Pressenda as the club’s new technical director.

The sports journalist has arrived in east London after football adviser Gianluca Romano left the O’s last month and is set for an active role in player recruitment.

A club statement read: “Born in Rome, Pressenda has been working in football since 2004 as a journalist and football advisor.

“Pressenda, 35, has worked for the likes of AC Montichiari and AC Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, as well as advising on transfer negotiations for such international groups as Sport Spain, Mas Futbol and Action Sports Management (ASM).”
