CARDIFF TO WAIT ON FFP APPEAL
CARDIFF CITY have been placed under a transfer embargo by the Football League following a breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
Russell Slade’s side may appeal after they were told they must not sign any new players in the January transfer window.
The Bluebirds are the fourth Championship club to fall foul of FFP rules, following similar punishments handed to Bolton, Nottingham Forest and Fulham.
A Cardiff statement revealed they will take their time before their next move. “Further advice will be sought, prior to a decision being made as to whether or not to appeal,” it read.
