JACKSON AIMS TO BE SMASH HIT
SIMEON Jackson has vowed to grab his chance with both hands after being picked up off the scrapheap by Blackburn Rovers.
Jackson, 28, made just one start for League One Barnsley before being released last month – and has not scored a goal since December 2014.
“I’m very hungry to do well,” said the forward, who played under Blackburn boss Paul Lambert at Norwich. “I’ve had a few ups and downs in the last few years, so I’m definitely looking forward to this opportunity.
“It has been a good two weeks coming in and getting a feel for the club, so I’m delighted to finally put pento-paper now.”
