CORR WILL KNEE-D OP

BARRY CORR has been playing through the pain barrier for Cambridge this season but manager Shaun Derry concedes the striker will need knee surgery.

The 30-year-old has scored 12 goals in 24 games since joining from Southend last summer but a knee problem will soon need addressing.

“Barry will require surgery at some stage because the injury currently doesn’t allow him to train,” said Derry. “We’re rolling him out at the moment and it’s not fair.”
