LAFFERTY DEAL MUST SUIT EVANS

LEEDS manager Steve Evans is keen to strike a deal for Kyle Lafferty but only if it’s beyond the summer.

Striker Lafferty, 28, who helped fire Northern Ireland to Euro 2016, has featured just once in the Premier League for Norwich this season.

And, while Evans would be tempted to bring him to Elland Road, he insists that will happen on his terms.

“If it was the case that Kyle was available to come to us and that we can agree to take him on beyond the summer, we would very much be at the table,” he said.“But we're not going to bring someone for eight weeks. That really is not building a team.”
