BLUES ASK FANS TO BE VIGILANT

-

CARLISLE United are appealing for help from their fans in order to avoid a repeat of last weekend’s smoke grenade incident.

Last Saturday’s clash at Exeter City was close to being postponed after a smoke grenade was apparently set off in a toilet block.

The alleged culprit has been banned from Brunton Park for the rest of the season.

Carlisle media officer Andy Hall said: “We are asking supporters to work with us. It has clearly shown that it is not a good idea to bring these things along, and if you know of others with them, point it out to our safety staff and help us make sure it gets dealt with.”
