Team mates

Best mate at the club? There has been a big change in players this year, but it’s David Ijaha. He has just signed, but we have a mutual friend and have met before. We get on well and I would say I have clicked with him the most. Last to buy dinner? I’m not going to lie, it’s definitely me. I was trying to save and I have got everything that I want now, but it’s made me tight. That’s me, there’s no going back. Worst dressed? You look around the changing room and no-one is too bad, but Gary Sawyer sticks out a little. He dresses well, but he has a right go all the time. He rates himself and he loves a pair of trainers. He loves the mirror in the changing room. Every time I go through to the mirror, he seems to be standing there. Dressing room DJ? It used to be Yann Songo'o, but he got kicked off it at the start of the season. All the boys have chosen a song and now we just have a playlist which we get on after the games. I chose Fat Joe All The Way Up. Late for training? Jordan Slew. He isn’t late all the time, he is just a bit dopey. He is all good when training starts, but he is not the quickest. Teacher’s pet? No-one really looks to suck up, it is pretty good like that. But if something goes wrong. The club captain, Luke McCormick, is the one who deals with it. First on the dance floor? There hasn’t been much chance to celebrate recently, with games every Saturday and Tuesday. But after we win we all get the music on and have a good time afterwards. Everyone is just happy that we have won. We do have 14 or 15 new players, though, so we’ll have to see as the season goes on. Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party? Graham Carey. He is lively. I don’t think he is a liability. He won’t embarrass himself, but he is one of those who enjoys himself and will always have a good time.

Worst tattoo? There aren’t too many in the dressing room, but probably Sonny Bradley – he has got a lot coming up his neck, it is a bit much for me! Partial to a sunbed? There is normally one isn’t there, but I don’t think we have any boys that love a good sunbed. It is surprising, but none of us really goes in for the tanning – it is probably good for later life. Going to make the best manager? I think David Fox would be a good coach. He is very experienced and he knows what he is talking about. In games he takes a lot of responsibility on himself. He will encourage the boys before the game and really try to help people out.
