AL CALL IS BEES BOOST

CRYSTAL Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed he was in two minds over whether to loan speedy winger Sullay Kaikai to Brentford for the season.

The 21-year-old shone on loan at Shrewsbury last term and Pardew thought about keeping him in the Eagles ranks before letting the Bees have him.

“I pondered over keeping him,” said Pardew. “But he wouldn’t have started. He’s going to have a bigger impact if I let him play and get more experience.”
