MCGEECHAN REVELS AS LUTON’S MAGICIAN

-

CERTAINLY there were a lot of positives for Luton Town considering their recent form.

They showed a lot of professionalism to grind out the win with some promising displays, and Cameron McGeehan looks to be playing an important part for Nathan Jones’ side.

However, with the poor defending and the red for Danny Hylton, discipline does seem to be an issue for the Hatters.

As for Doncaster, it just did not go their way, despite an ever-reliable performance from captain James Coppinger. His team-mates let him down a little when it mattered the most.

The midfield wandered off, and the defence stood absolutely still when Jack Marriott slotted home for the hosts’ second goal of the match and Joe Wright waved away any chance for the visitors to get any points with a rash challenge that led to the converted penalty.

Rovers must be hoping Scott Cuthbert gets back on the pitch sooner rather than later.
