KRISTIAN DENNIS is still learning his trade as a professional, but he says there is no better striker to learn from than Ched Evans.

Evans, who had his rape conviction overturned in April, running this season and had scored four goals before the weekend.

And Dennis – who racked up 29 goals last season for National League Macclesfield Town – is shadowing his every move.

“Ched Evans has a prolific record in this league. He’s got movement, pace, he’s got nearly everything,” said the 26-year-old.

“The gaffer (Danny Wilson) always says to me, ‘look at what Ched does’ and I have been. Hopefully, that’s helping me.”
