Bargain time as R’s turn back the clock

YOU can’t buy much for £6.70 these days, but QPR fans were able to purchase tickets for their midweek EFL Cup tie against Sunderland at that bargain price. The R’s won the League Cup in 1966-67 and, to acknowledge the 50th anniversary, the club decided to lower their prices for advanced adult ticket sales. QPR chief executive Lee Hoos said: “Fortunately, Sunderland both agreed to and supported our idea and I would like to express my personal thanks to them for their help in making this happen.”
