Team mates
Best mate? Conor Grant. He lives quite close to me, so we often go to each other’s houses for Champions League games or we will play PlayStation together. I am definitely better than him. Last to buy dinner? No-one is really stingy. If we go out for dinner and there are a few of us, we usually play card roulette. It’s the luck of the draw. The last couple of times, Conor Grant has had a stinker. There were only four or five of us, though. It wasn’t too pricey! FIFA King? Excluding me, Jonny Williams is the best. We’re pretty close. We have some good games on FIFA and he used to come out on top before I had the new game, but I am starting to edge them now. We normally go El Clasico – I am Real Madrid, he is Barcelona. Worst dressed? I am going to have to say Jonas Knudsen. He just wears a lot of odd tracksuits. The bottoms don’t match the top. Occasionally, he gets dressed up, but most of the time it isn’t the best. Dressing room DJ? Skipper Luke Chambers has a playlist of house-y stuff. I would go more hiphop and rap if I was in charge and sometimes I listen to my own stuff on my headphones. Most skilful? It’s the young boy, Andre Dozzell. He is very comfortable on the ball, good in tight situations. He doesn’t have a trademark skill but he can improvise to get himself out of trouble. Late for training? It has to be the guy on the most fines, Leon Best. He wasn’t happy when the fines list came out the other day. Teacher’s pet? Probably Cole Skuse, I have never seen his name on the fines list. He is cool with the manager, a senior player and plays a lot of games. Worst cook? I have never trusted anyone to cook for me yet, but Tom Lawrence told me he wasn’t very good. First on the dancefloor? We haven’t been on a night out yet, but we have the Christmas party coming up, which will be interesting. Most likely to disgrace themselves at Christmas party? Giles Coke is a funny guy and I can see him doing something outrageous. Worst tattoo? Everyone I have seen has quite good ones. Leon Best has a lot and so does Luke Chambers. I don’t have any myself but I am going to design my own in the future. Never puts the phone down? Everyone in the changing room is on the phone. When it comes to Snapchat, it’s probably Conor Grant again. He sends me ridiculous snaps throughout the day. Everything he does is there. Partial to a sunbed? I heard Teddy Bishop talking about a sunbed the other day and, when I asked him, he denied it, but I think he has a cheeky one every now and then. Jonathan Douglas could probably do with one. Best future manager? Tommy Smith. It’s something he wants to pursue after playing and he is doing his coaching badges. He has his own soccer school, too. He is injured at the minute, but he is always one to be like a captain and speak up.
