BIGNOT GIVES IT STRAIGHT

LEAGUE TWO

NORMALLY, unhappy players are a bad thing but Grimsby Town boss Marcus Bignot has no problem with some of his players being less than content at not getting into the starting 11.

And Bignot has challenged the fringe players to create the right atmosphere as they push each other for starting spots during the busy Christmas schedule.

“I’m a realistic manager. You are only every going to be happy if you’re playing,” he said.

“But if they are not playing then I will tell them why. At least they know the reasons and that means you get respect.

“All players in the squad can help create a good environment, which helps create success.”
